Hebei Han-Xing Institute of Mine & Metallurgy Design Co., Ltd. (predecessor：Design & Research Institute of Hanxing Metallurgical Mine Administration) was established in 1976. It is located at № 109 College-north Road, Handan City, Hebei Province. Now it possesses qualification certificates of “first-class engineering design of metallurgical mine”, “second-class engineering design of metallurgical industry”, “second-class engineering investigation”, “second-class metallurgical engineering supervision”, “solid mine exploration” and “geological prospecting” issued by Ministry of Construction of PRC and the Construction Commission of Hebei province. It also possesses foreign contract engineering design, engineering consultation, engineering supervision, engineering prospecting, import and export of equipment and material, foreign labor service approved by Ministry of Commerce of PRC. It also undertakes general project contract business mentioned above.

Hebei Han-Xing Institute of Mine & Metallurgy Design Co., Ltd. is an “independent corporation” unit with registered capital ￥5 millions (RMB). Its office building covers 5283m². The Company passed ISO9001 qualification system in Sep 2002.

There are 128 staffs in the Company, including 6 professor level senior engineers, 46 senior engineers, 31 engineers, 1 first-class architect, 3 first-class registered structural engineers. 2 second-class registered structural engineers, covering more than 20 professions,such as Mining Engineering, Ore Dressing Engineering,Iron & Steel Metallurgical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, HVAC Engineering, Water supply and Drainage Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, etc.

 Hebei Han-Xing Institute of Mine & Metallurgy Design Co., Ltd. was supported Chinese largest independent metallurgy and mining enterprise Hanxing Metallurgical Mine Administration: Most of its backbone staffs directly come from first line of mining, construction, and administration.Therefore,they have outstanding condition and experience to apply theory into practice. The Company also possesses perfect project design, finished-product’s equipment. A local computer network was established in 2001, so that each designer has a computer.Thus, the whole administration department has realized computerization.

Both the rate of Construction plans by CAD and the rate of highphase design by CAD amount to 100%.Contract Management, Plan Management, Personnel Management, Financial Affairs Management,Qualification Test and Data Reporting have all realized software management and computerization. The Company adheres to principles of  “management in science, good faith and win-win systems, catching market opportunities. striving for perfection, advanced and practica1, insuring clients’ requirement”. The Company has all abilities to service the clients with satisfactory.

Hebei Han-Xing Institute of Mine & Metallurgy Design Co., Ltd. has obtained more than 20 outstanding awards of municipal, provincial and ministerial level and QC result awards prospecting projects awards (including 6 awards above provincial and ministerial level). The Company has also achieved advanced unit titles of provincial, municipal prospecting project trade and advanced unit titles in Hanxing Metallurgical Mine Administration for many times. Since 1992 the Company continually achieved titles of “honors the contract and keep the promise” in Hebei province.

In recent years,Hebei Han-Xing Institute of Mine & Metallurgy Design Co., Ltd has completed many project designs for big , mid and small size mines’ Mining &Mineral Processing Design, Project Designs for Geological Prospecting, Mining Prospecting Project, Project Designs of Resource Exploiting and Utilization for Mining and Mineral Processing Plants, Safety Facility Design for Tailing Pond,Close-pond Design for Tailing Pond, Safety Specialty Design,for instance: Project Design of Deep Development in North Ming River Iron Mine, Deep Development in Xishimen Iron Mine(+ 40m), Mining Project Design of South Ming River Iron Mine, etc. All these designs were widely honored recognition by clients.

So far, 960 project items have been undertaken by designing, prospecting and supervision departments involving investment amount to about ￥16 billions(RMB), seeing these main project performances in the following tables.
